Tourism Jilemnice
The Jilemnice chateau comes from 16th century and was built by counts of Krinecti from Ronov. Then the chateau inherited Harants from Polzice and Bezdruzice and in 1701 bought the chateau Harrachs. They extended the chateau in 1714 and 1895 rozšiřovali to the present form (original caste had only west wing with a clock-tower). During the World War II. was confiscated their property and the Harrach family was persecuted by the regime. After the war, building and lands confiscated the state. Nowadays, the Krkonose Musem with exhibition of skiing history is situated here.
