31.12.2020
When: 7 December 2020 - 6 January 2021
Where: Vrchlabí
This year's novelty is the guardian of the nativity scene standing at the gate to the park and the emblem and the founding charter of the town of Vrchlabí is dormant in his hands. It is Kryštof Gendorf from Gendorf - the founder of the city. The dominant feature remains a wooden cottage, in which there is a cradle with twins Jeníček and Mařenka, but also a bear bear, a cart with a brewery, a grandmother of spices, musicians and, of course, three kings.
Come and enjoy the beauty of human work, the natural materials from which the nativity scene was made, and the peaceful atmosphere of the nativity scene.
You can buy a unique postcard with a photographed nativity scene and also a tourist business card in the information center on the square in the town hall building.
The Krkonoše fairytale nativity scene was created in 8 months by the carver Pavel Tryzna from the group ŘEZBÁŘI K 106.
