On Saturday, October 23, 2021, on the occasion of the 70th anniversary of the founding of the RESEARCH AND BREEDING INSTITUTE OF FRUIT HOLOVOUS, the "Fruit Festival in Holovousy" will take place. The festivities will start at 9 am with a professional seminar for growers, which will last until 12 noon. Subsequently, the program will continue from 1 pm for the general public.
Holovous raspberry
Czech variety, discovered in Holovousy at the end of the 18th century. The fruits are medium to large, spherical. The color of the fruit is crimson red with occasional translucent olive green, shiny. A distinctive feature of the variety is the muscle in the stem hole. The taste is very good, juicy, sweetly rolled with a strong raspberry flavor.
