Bike routes Vrchlabí
Cycling routes have a new marking in the Lanov surroundings. We recommend to you the circle No. 8, which offers beautiful views of the Giant Mountains. It is a long trail with rise to Cihadlo, about 28 km. We recommend to follow the advanced blue marked cycling path from the railway station in Vrchlabi through Horni Lanov to Cerny dul, like the path No. 9.
In Cerny Dul turn right onto the main cycling route No. 22 to Cista, cross the main street and a you will arrive to the crossroad in Fort . Here follow the cycling route No. 4298 towards Lanov. Or you can try also variant No. 8a, which goes along streets and cycling route No. 4298 to Terezin in Hostinne (9 km). Our circle No. 8 leads right on local street to the crossroad Under Mala Snezka. There is a new stopping place with a map of the Giant Mountains here. The near hill Cihadlo offers a nice view and it is the highest peak in the surroundings. From the crossroad, it is possible to go to Prostredni Lanov - Information centre along the cycling trail No. 4298, which is the alternativ No. 8b, 5 km long. The main circle continues under the Cihadlo through Dolni Lanov to Kuncice with the route No. 4299. And Labska cycling route No. 24 leads back to Vrchlabi.
