The toboggan run in Špindlerův Mlýn will be in operation again from Friday, January 21, 2022. It measures almost 3 kilometers and the total elevation gain reaches 400 meters. Riding on this longest illuminated toboggan run in the Czech Republic is simply a unique experience. Everyone, parents with children and a bunch of friends will have a lot of fun on the sledge. And that you don't want to step uphill and pull a sledge? No problem. Each ticket for the track includes a bus ride to the start and a sleigh rental. All you have to do is dress appropriately and pack a lot of good mood.
At the start at Špindlerův Mlýn near the Malý Šišák Military Convalescent Home, they will lend you sledges, on which you will descend back down the toboggan run. You can drop off the sleigh at the finish line for refreshments, and then it's up to you whether you return to the square by bus or whether you enhance the driving experience with a short walk along the river Elbe back to the center. In case you want to go down the track again, you can wait for the next bus going to the finish line. Everyone rides the sleigh alone, only children under the age of 7 are always accompanied by an adult. The basic fare is CZK 299, the price for the second and every other ride during one day is CZK 190. For purchase, there are rides only at the finish of the track on Dívčí lávky.
On Friday, January 21, the track will be in operation from 10:00 to 16:00, the bus will run every hour. On Saturday, January 22, it will run from 10:00 to 16:00, the bus will run after half an hour. Evening rides at 18:00, 19:00 and 20:00 will also be available. On Sunday, January 23, the daily rides are again from 10:00 to 16:00 and the bus will run after half an hour. From Monday, only day rides will be available, in the evening there will be rides in case of favorable conditions.
